This staple has been in city of Warren for years. This writer has never had a bad experience or a bad meal. Always good home-cooked meals with plenty of portions and value for the money. Friendly staff and always to help out. Highly recommend stopping ny and enjoy a meal. Plenty of booths and three spots to handle 5 or more people. Everything for the most part is cooked and prepared to order. Kids menu. THIS NOT A BUFFET style type of restaurant. They do however offer Ala crate and full fledgling meals. Plenty of parking and handicap parking. Hours 6am until 8pm. Last orders are placed no later than 7:45pm. Delivery available through Door Dash or Grub Hub.. The food was excellent! You can tell it is made from scratch. The lentil soup was delicious. Had the meatloaf and the portion was huge. It was also so good and we will definitely be back. Service was ok. Wait staff all looked less than thrilled to be there and weren't the most chipper. I don't blame them because food service industry is soul-crushing. Not going to fault them. Thank you for your hard work! Decor is pretty outdated. Looks like a 90's style restaurant but it was clean.
Very good service and breakfast was fast and good. My wife had strawberry pancakes and I had blueberry pancakes. We couldn't eat it all. We will visit again for sure.
Food and service is good. We’ve been a few times with my parents and they are not the easiest but the servers are always patient and kind. Thank you for taking care of us.
Hangs down one of the best places I've ever had steak and eggs and for the price I could beleave how good the steak and eggs was. I was blown away that a dinner could nail a medium rare steak to perfection! And if your a fan of liver and onions HIGHLY RECOMMEND give this place a try you'll be coming back!!!
What a lovely local restaurant! I am thrilled that this is in my backyard. Stopped by today for a quick bite and couldn’t be happier. Had chicken fried steak and eggs with rye toast. Fresh coffee. Food came out quick, was hot and well-made to order. Owner was behind the counter and seating people, which we love to see. 4 outta 5 people sitting near me were regulars who ordered “their usual” which is another positive. Seems like the service staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and good at their jobs. Will be coming back!
I had the baby beef liver. It was the best perfectly cooked and tasty I have had bar none. Even the green beans were fresh beans too . I will be back again. The helping was great after the bun and nice salid I ate 1/2 and took it home . Even heated again it was fantastic. Way to go country oven . Wow is all I can say
I have to start by saying this family dinner is one of the most amazing places I've had the pleasure to eat. Not only is the food portion huge, but the prices are, in my opinion, way to low for the quality of food they serve!!! The best part is everyone treats you like family from the moment you walk in. I never once had a chance to ask for a refill because they where already there topping off my drink or coffee. To the owner Lisa you have created an amazing dinner that I will be visiting over and over and cant wait to try my next meal. I've had the liver and onions 5/5 Breakfast Special 5/5 and fish and chips (subbed for mac and cheese) I can't wait to come back and try a new dish.
I can't say which is better, The friendly smile you get when you walk in or the Great service you get from your waitress or waiter or the excellent quality of the food you served. I'm so confused because everything is so good. You have the same thoughts after leaving here with the full belly and a big smile.
